Shamanic drum circle setup with drums, candles and crystals

Drum Circles

The shamanic drum is one of humanity's oldest healing tools. Its steady, rhythmic heartbeat carries us into non-ordinary reality — a state of expanded awareness where healing, wisdom, and insight become available.

We journey together as a small group of up to ten people. Intimate by design — small enough that everyone has space to share, and no one gets lost in the crowd.

The Three Journeys

Each drum circle follows the shamanic map of three worlds:

  • The Lower World — the realm of power animals and nature spirits. A place of grounding, vitality, and instinctual wisdom.
  • The Middle World — the non-ordinary aspect of the world we inhabit. A place of messages, meetings, and clarity.
  • The Upper World — the realm of teachers, ancestors, and higher guidance. A place of perspective and inspiration.

Each journey lasts around 20 minutes. Between journeys you will have time to rest, write in your journal, and integrate what you received. We close each journey with a round of sharing — what you choose to share is always your choice.

The journeys are guided. I read the energy of the room and adapt the facilitation to what the group needs — grounded enough for those journeying for the first time, open enough for those with experience to find their own depth.

What to Expect & Bring

Journeys are done lying down with eyes covered. You will need to be comfortable on the floor for extended periods. The full event runs 2–3 hours.

What to bring:

  • A comfortable mat or lying pad (yoga mat, foam pad, or similar)
  • One or two blankets
  • A pillow
  • An eye cover or sleep mask
  • A journal and pen
  • Comfortable, loose clothing
  • A candle — each person brings one, and together they form our central fire for the evening
